I just found out that one of my friends got laid off from work here in DXB. Sad tale but that’s reality, we are all in a bunch of boxes full of chocolates and we don’t know if were ready to be eaten or not.

Life goes on for one of these friends of mine; thank God being optimistic was one of his attributes. I can honestly say he will find again another job, he has to, and he has no way to go but sort out the highway and find comfort in being employed again.

He is a part of the recession muddled employment sector in this side of town. Whose next? We will never know….

It was one month and thirteen days past in the year.
I can still clearly remember.
He was there, walking out of that store;
He was carrying the normal bunch of flowers: red shiny glowing roses.
Each petal of those shimmering splendid roses captivated his glow to show his affection to those eyes waiting for him outside.
It was a part of the theater, a mesmerizing moment as he laid those flowers to the hands of those beautiful eyes.
He was thankful; at last he had conquered the world.

As they walked hand in hand toward the horizon, their eyes fixed towards each other, unmindful of the deluge of people peeping them, they succumbed to a never unending bliss. A bliss that unifies both of eternal damnation for its was not meant to be.

I did not saw mommy kissing santa claus last night, what i saw was my sister kissing Zuma in delight.

Met Ryan last thursday night when me and my hommies were having drinks at a nearby bar
An American, was here for a business trip to oversea expansions for his crane business...
Told us - "as long as there are pipes to be build for oil, there will be cranes to be sold"
quite the positivity in that phrase considering all economies are into recession these days.
but as hours went by, its really astonishing that this man has shown his optimism about all of this. I guess he want to say is that somehow when you want to start something for your business you have to get and love it and norture it, that there are nothing on this world can stop you from pursuing your goal.
by the way, he is an avid porsche car collector, just sold his ferrari, say he does not like the type of the car.
i might start selling cranes to jumpstart my collections...
naaah, not a chance, not yet, not now but i am almost there...almost....

i found out that i am a gypsy in one way or another.

i remain to one area in a span of time and move again to another one as soon as i am feed up with the environment i am into.

i could not believe it at first but i saw it in my own eyes at this very moment. i've been jamming with friends for about a week now in one area alone, enjoying the breath of the polluted air and the customary walks of people from every day life.

but i am waiting for the moment to go again and look for another venue to hang out with what gypsies do:look, stay, enjoy and move on...

I've attended two birthday parties in a span of two weeks.
I'd say i observed a lot about these soirees....

Paanu ba maging masaya ang happy birthday party mo? Heres some suggestions i got from the experts:

H - Hot chicks... dpat meron kang ganito sa party mo, kait pangit ang mga guys basta ang chicks malulupet. Madadala mo ang party kait saan, kait wla kang pera.

A - Amoy. importanteng me amoy ang handa mo. Hindi lang amoy na masarap, pero ung talagang masarap. Ikaw at ang handa mong pagkain ang magbibigay sau ng maraming bati hindi ang suot mo.

P - People. Sinu sinu ba invited mo, kung tatlo lang kayung umattend at kait wala yun celebrant magiging masaya pa rin ang birthyda party, yun na yun, kase maiintindian niya kait wala sya dail para sa kanya itong birthday party na ito. tama ba baby!?

P - Pihikan. wag kang pihikan sa birthday mo. pangit ang resulta nito. meron akong barkada naka receive siya ng ice cream sa bisita niya, un tahimik ang bisita pero un ice cream hindi. ang resulta: i remember the quezo real but don't remember the guest (kanta ito...sing it...).

Y - Yup. English word na patok na patok sa party. Hijo sarap ng pagkain ha, Yup! Miss kilala mo me birthday, Yup!, ikaw ba nagluto nito,Yup!, sarap ha!, iba ka talaga pare, galing birthday mo, Yup!, Berto labas mo na alak? Yup!

I really dont know either...

This resonates to me for a very simple reason: "does it matter"....what is fascinating about this phrase is what would the other side think - i say the person on the receiving end of this phrase.

Definitely yours would want to see the person on the other side of the fence but for the other side to feel back the same way to you its a big mystery...
Is it important that you feel this way but doesn't care what the other side say?

Let me put it this way, do we possibly care what people think about us that we make it a point to say what ever we want as long as we want it to be...

Case in point: you cannot justify aloneness into being lonely...it's out of the question.

The person is not being alone, the person i guess just remembers you...

11% in June 2008 (philippines) Inflation: eto medyo madali lang intindiin....if you have 1 pesos last year na pwide mo ibili ng boy bawang, ngayon 1.11 na ang presyo ng boy bawang mo. Imagine sa sampung boy bawang mo na pwideng pulutan ng sampung taong nag iinuman eh siyam na piraso na lang ang mabibili mo sa sampung piso. i sent this letter to a friend awhile back recommending books to read

i am re-printing it for the sake of encouraging you guys to read it as well

"Last 24th of December 2007, i visited this bookstore in satwa called book world. they have lots of 2nd hand books to sell, good thing about this store is after buying and reading the book you can return it and they'll pay you half the price...hehehe..geez that really is value for our money...i browsed the bookstore, they have wide range of books from management to comics, so all are there at discounted prices...cool di ba.
i saw this ayn rand book about atlas shrugged, i haven't bought it because its a thick book, i guess you squeeze it and can divide into three more books...thats how thick it is by my standard...and mind you its just paper bound,not the hard bound type...
so this is your fav book, i've looked that up on wikipedia and undestood na all her books are quite "philosophical" learnings...malalaim pala nilalaman niya...but i like the concept on atlas shrugged, even if it is written half a century ago i can still relate the story to everyday lives especially on man's existence

Here naman is my all time top 5 fav (in the meantime na wala pa ako bago...)

i enjoy drinking with friends...

gracie-p just came from her vacation in the phils so techy-guy, "angelina" and me ought to have a night moment with her...well she was inviting us for dinner coz she prepared something for us so bakit namin tatanggihan...Marry brown pala(like KFC)..chicken,coleslow,coke,plastic cups,etc...thats how gracie-p likes it...to see us and ate her chicken...

after dinner, labas ang brandy, red wine and karaoke...

i found out na pwide pala gawin ang mga ganito habang nag iinuman:

masarap palang combi ang brandy at pulvoron
mas masarap palang combi ang brandy at atchara
pwide ka pala mag devise nang sayaw according sa mga larong pambata (taguan,tumbang preso,piko, taching)
artistic gymnastic is bad when a 240-pound guy is trying to be a gymnast
